- CAN I PURCHASE A REPLACEMENT SECTION FOR MY EXTENSION LADDER?
- You may contact Lite Products Inc. at 1-800-567-0864 to enquire about purchasing individual ladder sections.
- HOW CAN I REPAIR MY DAMAGED LADDER OR DOES LITE PRODUCTS INC. OFFER A LADDER REPAIR SERVICE?
- Damaged ladders should be immediately removed from use in the field. Lite Products Inc. does not recommend repairing a damaged ladder and does not offer a repair service.
- DOES LADDERS OFFER A WARRANTY?
- Aluminum, fiberglass and wood ladders come complete with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship. This warranty is good from the day the ladder is purchased. The original store receipt with date stamp must be provided for warranty purposes. Ladders must undergo an authorized inspection to determine whether the warranty applies. Supplierpipeline Group will refund, repair, or replace, at its option, any ladder(s) shown to be defective during the warranty period.
This warranty will be considered void under the following conditions:
- If the ladder is altered in any way
- If the ladder is repaired by an unauthorized source
- If the ladder is misused
- If the ladder is used contrary to the instructions provided on the labels and packaging or in the instruction manual
- If the ladder is subjected to an accident
- If the ladder is damaged due to fire, lightning or acts of nature
- If the ladder is used as a rental

- WHY ARE PAIL TRAYS NOT OFFERED WITH ALL STEPLADDERS?
- While several models do feature a pail tray, the unique design of the multi-functional top cap on many models reduces the need for a pail tray in most cases.
- DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM ATTIC LADDERS WITH VARIOUS ROUGH OPENINGS?
- Lite Products Inc. offers a selection of attic ladders that fit a rough opening of 22" x 54" or 22" x 47" with a maximum ceiling height of 10' and 8'9", respectively. Visit www.liteladders.com for more information on our line of attic ladders.
- CAN I BUY LADDERS ONLINE?

- Yes. Lite Products Inc. offers a variety of products to suit your storage limitations such as articulating and telescopic ladders, which are our most versatile ladders and are convenient for smaller storage spaces. Click “Products” to learn more.
- WHAT IS A LOAD RATING AND WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CSA GRADE 1, 2 & 3?
- A load rating is the recommended total weight that can be carried by a ladder. This includes the weight of the user plus any tools, materials and accessories that the user takes on the ladder.
Canadian Standards Association (CSA) has classified the following rating chart:

Lite Products Inc. also offers higher rated ladders to meet your applications beyond the 3 ratings above. ANSI (American National Standards Institute) classifies the Type IA rating with a maximum load of 300 lb / 136 kg and the Type IAA rating with a maximum load of 375 lb/ 170 kg.
